HIDDEN CITY MEETING

On Monday Dave Morris and I met up in West London at Paddington and then ended up at The Dove on the river in Hammersmith. We met up for a confab about Hidden City and I'm pretty pleased with what we discussed. We had a wander east of Hammersmith Bridge and the weather created some funky clouds, so here are a few photos from Monday and a photo of the interior of The Dove, one of the nicest pubs in London…

Hi there, I've just bounced over from Stevyn Colgan's blog. I haven't lived in London for years and your blog is a wonderful slap of nostalgia. I shall enjoy doing some back-reading now and discovering more of your writing and wonderful photographs/art.

Have a great weekend (we're having a three-day one here!)

I just realized, isn't this the pub that William Morris used to hang out at?

You might be right. It's on the river by Hammersmith and it's certainly not far from the Chiswick churchyard where Hogarth is buried.Don't forget to check out my main blog, Walls and Bridges, where I post lots of London/ England photos…
